This TV is a better version of Samsung The Frame, launched with impressive features, excellent picture quality, and an affordable price. Although it was released at the end of last year, I didn’t review it then because the 2025 stock was upgraded to make it even more ultimate. In terms of picture quality and features, this TV even outperforms premium TVs priced under ₹1 lakh.

Currently, this TV is available in 55-inch and 65-inch sizes, and both variants offer similar performance. However, on a larger screen, details are more visible, making the picture quality even more captivating.

The Vu Masterpiece Frame 2025 TV arrives in attractive premium packaging. Along with general accessories, the box includes a table-top stand and a wall-mount bracket, which many companies now skip.

The build quality of the TV is excellent. It features high-grade ABS plastic and premium metal, giving it an aesthetically pleasing and rich look. The TV is designed to resemble a frame, with an extremely sleek and slim profile. It’s nearly bezel-less on three sides, with a slim metallic bezel at the bottom featuring Vu branding on a sound-wave designed metallic strip. The sides of the TV are also impressively slim. The TV comes with a metallic Ice-blade base in an Armani Gold finish, enhancing its overall look.

The remote is elongated and includes hotkeys for YouTube and Netflix, along with dedicated buttons for picture and sound settings. It also has buttons for Cricket Mode and Cinema Mode and supports voice control. The remote includes direct buttons for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB, and HDMI connections.

Connectivity Option Details

When wall-mounted, this TV sits flush against the wall, giving it an elegant frame-like appearance. Unlike Samsung The Frame, where you need to buy separate frames, this TV has internally adjustable frames that look just like external ones.

The Personalized ART Mode allows you to display family photos with customizable frames. You can also upload photos via USB and set different frame styles based on your room decor and mood. Additionally, the TV offers a slideshow feature with customizable time intervals between photos.

 Real-World Performance:

Now let's talk about the real performance of this TV. Its performance has truly amazed me. The picture quality of this TV is stunning, keeping your eyes glued to the screen. The dirty screen effect is hardly noticeable. The TV has excellent grey uniformity, and the color stretches appear very clean. Sports fields look crisp and clear, making it a pleasure to watch sports on this TV. Thanks to the 144 Hz panel, the stability in the image of a cricket ball is far superior compared to lower refresh rate TVs.

However, if you expect the cricket ball's fast-paced movement to appear completely blur-free, that’s not possible, as this kind of blur cannot be avoided, even in the most expensive TVs, due to the way it is captured by cameras. Still, this TV provides a far better visual experience in terms of motion blur compared to 60 Hz TVs.

The black uniformity isn’t as good as TVs with VA panels, but for an IPS panel, it’s impressive. Banding or digital noise is hardly noticeable. Talking about brightness, the TV appears very bright but falls slightly short of the company’s claimed brightness. On a 100% window, the brightness measures around 400 nits, which means the peak brightness is likely below 500 nits. Nevertheless, the brightness is excellent for all types of content. SDR content appears very bright, and HDR content plays beautifully.

In HDR and Dolby Vision dark scenes, the glow of lights makes the scenes come alive. Maintaining the night-time ambiance, the TV performs exactly as a filmmaker intends for the audience. There’s also a Filmmaker Mode that produces realistic pictures. The contrast for an IPS panel TV is excellent, and the blacks look reasonably deep.

When it comes to color reproduction, this TV is superb. The colors are vibrant and deep. Reds look particularly stunning, and there’s hardly any deviation in the colors. The overall picture quality is outstanding and captivating. The picture quality of this TV is better than what you’ll find even in higher-brand TVs priced under ₹70,000.

Now, about the audio—it's remarkable. The sound is loud with excellent clarity. You can clearly hear dialogues in Hollywood movies even without subtitles. The presence of tweeters ensures great clarity, and the subwoofer provides decent bass. In my opinion, you won’t need an external soundbar unless you’re used to window-rattling bass or watching movies at very high volumes. For that, the TV also offers HDMI eARC, so you can connect any soundbar.

As for the processor, the TV is very responsive. Switching between different applications is a smooth experience with no noticeable delays or lag. Being an Android TV, it comes with several preloaded applications, and you can download more from the Google Play Store. You even have the flexibility to sideload third-party apps. Netflix, Hotstar, and Amazon Prime web series are a delight to watch on this TV.

Regarding gaming, this TV is not just the best in its price range but also better than many higher-priced TVs. Gaming is incredibly smooth with no stuttering or lag to ruin your experience. You can enjoy 4K HDR games at 144 Hz. While its response time and input lag may not be ultimate, they are sufficient even for hardcore gaming.

 VERDICT

In my opinion, this TV delivers far more value than its price. With excellent picture and sound quality, it truly lives up to its name, offering a masterpiece performance that keeps you fully entertained. Moreover, Vu’s after-sales service is the most responsive in the affordable category.

That’s all for today, take care and stay safe!
