Tonzo LS-418 is one of the best projectors in the budget category. The brilliant performance that it offers at an incredibly low price point is unbelievable.  UNBOXING & built Quality 

The projector comes in a printed cardboard box, on which FHD 1080p is mentioned. The name of the projector is not mentioned anywhere on the box. Actually, all these projectors are imported from China, by sellers, here in India. This projector is imported by the Tonzo company, so the projector is rebranded by them as Tonzo LS-418. Inside the box, there are two Blue and Red glasses to watch 3D contents. Apart from the projector, there is a power cord, remote, AV cable, user manual guide and a lens cleaning cloth. 

The design of this projector is pretty different from other projectors. The built quality is fairly good. In a dual-tone finish, this projector looks premium & stylish. For the lens protection, a plastic cover has been provided, whose built quality is good. On the upper surface, a grey fabric designing is given, and on the front of it all physical buttons have been enclosed. Alongside the lens is an IR blaster. On the right hand side, there is focus wheel and a provision to clean the dust filter has also been given on this projector. This is a pretty new feature that I have come across on any projector.

To keep the projector cool during its operation, a number of vents have been provided. On the rear is a power port, AV port, headphone jack, 2 HDMI ports, 2 USB ports, an IR blaster and a speaker. Underneath this projector, the details are given and below the legs there is a provision for screw thread, with the help of which, you can mount this projector from the ceiling. In the front there is a screw, which helps in adjusting the height of the projector during projection. Overall, in looks, this projector is elegant and also stylish. The built quality of the remote is pretty good and all useful buttons have been provided on it. 

 Specifications 

Now coming to the features and specifications of this projector; According to the company, this FHD/1080p resolution projector's peak brightness is 6500 Lumens. Its lamp life is 50000 hours and the contrast ratio is 8000:1. The company maintains that you can project a screen of 200 inches through this projector. This projector comes with Wi-Fi along with Miracast and it has 3W surround sound stereo speakers. This FHD projector comes with a support for 4k videos and has a 4D digital keystone correction feature, apart from a Zoom function. You can Zoom in and Zoom out a picture up to 60%.

 Picture quality 

Now, these were the specifications as claimed by the company. The ground reality is that despite being a bright projector, its brightness is not 6500 Lumens, as claimed. All companies give highly exaggerated brightness value of their projectors as well as TVs. The real brightness of this projector is only around 3500 Lumens. Never go for a product by its specifications as companies always give inflated values. In simple language, you just need to know that its brightness is fairly good amongst the budget category projectors and you can watch movies on it for a long time without any headache. however, for the best picture quality, you need to keep the screen size limited to 120 inches.

The pictures projected through this projector are quite sharp, with good detail clarity and deep blacks. The colour reproduction of this projector is also pretty good, you get to see vibrant and punchy colours on it.  If you purchase this projector you will never need to go to a Cinema Hall. You can enjoy a full theatre experience within the confines your home. Whether you watch old classics on it or latest shows, both will look very appealing on this projector.

 Audio 

Now, let's talk about the sound output of this projector. I have always been maintaining that a soundbar or home theatre is a must with every projector. However, this projector has proved me wrong as its sound has shocked me. The audio quality of its 3W stereo speaker is superb. The sound, apart from being loud, is rich in quality. Be it heaviness in dialogue delivery or quality musical rendition, this projector stands out on all accounts and it appears as if a good soundbar has been connected to this projector. You get a true bass effect on this projector, which grants a soothing feel. For this projector, I can definitely say that you do not need a soundbar with it, unless and until you desire a booming bass experience to imitate a Cinema Hall.

 Smartness  

This projector comes with a Miracast feature and casting is pretty smooth on this projector.

For casting, you need to connect your phone and this projector to the same Wi-Fi network. 

The noise coming from this projector during operation is minimal that gets drowned by its loud audio and is hardly audible.

In my opinion, this budget projector is an all-rounder that stands out on all fronts, whether it be its picture quality or its audio. You can definitely opt for this amazing projector that come at an incredibly low price.
