Realme launches a new series of 4k TVs in India, Realme Smart TV 4K

Realme has launched a new series of UHD 4k TVs in India, Realme Smart 4K TVs. In this series, the company has announced only two sizes, 43-inch and 50-inch. 43 inches variant will cost you ₹ 27,999 & 50 inches will come at a price of ₹ 39,999. The design of this TV is pretty decent with a 2.6mm ultra-thin bezel. The Realme Smart TV comes with a 97.2% screen-to-body ratio & a grey stand. Both these TVs will come with a built-in Chroma Boost technology along with a Picture optimization Engine. The TVs will have a Wide Colour Gamut with 83% NTSC Coverage. These TVs will come with the support of Dolby Vision, HDR & HLG.  There could be a quad-core MediaTek chipset. These Smart TVs will have dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0.

With the help of google EcoSystem, you will be able to control AIoT Devices through Google Assistant on the TV. And, for controlling smart devices you needn't press the Google Assistant button on the remote. You just have to say "OK GOOGLE" to your TV and the Google Assistant on your Realme TV will start working. There is also a built-in multiple microphone matrix for quick recognition of voice commands.

However, the downside is that these TVs will come only with 280 Nits brightness. For better picture performance, high brightness is the most vital ingredient on a TV. And, for a good picture performance on a 50-inch big screen, a brightness of at least 400 Nits is necessary. The effectiveness of Dolby Vision & HDR can only be seen when the brightness of a TV is at least 1000 Nits. In reality, none of the TVs in the budget category, including the higher brands, give you the real performance of an HDR10 or Dolby Vision. I have already told you in my videos on our YouTube channel Techiebeez India that nowadays, companies flaunt HDR10 & Dolby Vision even on their TVs hardly having a brightness of 300 Nits. The Realme Smart TV 4K comes with a TÜV Rheinland certificate that gives assurance of cutting the Blue light, thus ensuring no strain on the eyes.

 Realme 4K Smart TVs are Powered by MediaTek Processor, which is supported by ARM Cortex A53 CPU and Mali G52 GPU. There is Android 10 running on the top. The TVs will come with Google Play Store & you will also be able to side-load outside apps on them. On both these TVs, you will get the liberty to play almost all applications. These Realme TVs will come with 2 GB RAM & 16 GB internal storage, which is pretty decent.

In the new Realme 4K Smart TVs you will get 3 HDMI ports, 2 USB ports, 1 AV input port, 1 Ethernet port, and a tuner port. HDMI ARC will be present on these TVs. 

Realme Smart TV 4K will have a refresh rate of 60 Hz, However, in some budget TVs having a 60 Hz refresh rate, motion blur is not that evident, while watching normal contents. But you cannot avoid it during fast action scenes. And certainly, this much we have to bear if we opt for a budget category TV.
